EXTENSION SERVICE is an aesthetic investigation of our sensual world, which takes the form of a quarterly collage zine with a musical accompaniment. This is the first, on the topic of SKIES. The zine is 16 pages, full-color.

Morphic Rooms is a collaborative collage laboratory founded in 2021 by allison anne (they/them) and Jeremy P. Bushnell (he/him). They produce layered, abstract work that utilizes systematic parameters, creative rulesets, chance operations, and collaborative interplay as tools for radically reimagining a deep archive of images, texts, ephemera, and detritus.

Cirrus 13:27

about

"Cirrus" serves as a companion piece to "Extension Service #1: Skies," a collage zine, described above.

Rachel Evans writes: "This is a track for all the heavy feelers, like myself. Some people are emotional barometers. As with cirrus clouds, observing distant movements, they can often help predict from which direction weather is approaching; detecting subtle changes in mood and lurking high in the atmosphere; crystalline up close, yet wispy from far away. I arranged this piece in June 2022 from multiple outtakes of compositions originally recorded between 2010 and 2011, with alternate versions appearing on the 2010 "The Sound of Reality Dissolving" 3-inch cdr, the 2011 "Variations on Sleep" cassette, and the 2011 "Luminaries & Synastry" vinyl LP."
